Boardwalk Empire is really pulling out all the stops this year. Not satisfied with a few Golden Globes and a couple SAG Awards under our belts, we succeeded in impressing the musical community too, collecting a Grammy for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media! The Soundtrack features music from the first season and upcoming second season of HBO®’s Boardwalk Empire. It was produced by the series’ music supervisor Randall Poster and is comprised of original music from the 1920s exclusively rerecorded by top contemporary artists such as Regina Spektor, Loudon Wainwright III, Martha Wainwright, Catherine Russell, Nellie McKay and Leon Redbone.
